Day# 30

I am packed and ready to go over my brother Chris house for his birthday weekend. He turned the big 18 today, so I am just going to chill with him and my other family for the weekend. This stay should be very eventful, who knows what we will accomplish while I am there. Well off to my other home, I will be blogging from that house now until the Sunday.

Day# 29

After a long day at school, I came home, ate then proceeded to play NBA 2K12. I must enjoy this game because this is the first time I touched my Xbox 360 for a couple of months now. 2k12 released in stores this Wednesday, and my father purchased the game yesterday, he even plays Xbox more since we obtained the game.  Well I’m done playing the game for now; next mission on tonight’s agenda is to complete my AP English homework and study for my AP Human Geography test, which is scheduled for next Tuesday.

Day #28

After arriving home and taking my usual after school naps, all I have been doing is studying AP Human Geography. I studied a variety of different materials, whether it was looking over my note cards containing all the vocabulary for this particular section, reviewing notes or just looking over other key information that’s in the text book.  My main goal is to score an A, on my first test which is scheduled on the Tuesday of next week. Knowing I can accomplish this goal is one thing, putting in the effort to study nightly is most important though. It is nothing like having the day before the test just to review, rather than cramming a huge amount of information in your brain the night prior to the exam.

Day #27

After finally completing my College Algebra Honors homework, I feel accomplished! For the first time this year I actually fully understood how to complete an abundance of problems thoroughly without second guessing myself. My confidence in college algebra is at a new level, all I have to do now is study nightly (well take time to do different examples while I’m home), in order to do my finest on our first test coming up in a couple of days. Asking questions in class really does benefit you, took me years to come out of my shell and speak up, however I noticed since last year when I need help, I now seek for help instead of just sitting around trying to figure everything out by my lonesome. Not saying being independent is a bad thing, but it’s nothing wrong with obtaining help if you need it.

Day# 26

Is it just me or did it get extremely cold out of nowhere? Outside weather from the previous weekend until recently has been high 50's, it seems like we skipped fall and went straight to the winter. Luckily looking at the weather channel, the temperature for the rest of the week will be in the high 60's. Other than that it's time to bring out all of the hoody’s and coats, I like to stay warm myself, cold weather is not my forte.

Day #25

My 1st interim my senior year, I think I am doing very well so far. Only exceptions are my two C's; one in Physics and the other in College Algebra Honors. I am passing both of these classes; however C's aren’t what I’m reaching for, I don’t wish for an average grade, all A's and B's are my goal. In order to achieve superior grades in these classes I plan on attending coach classes regularly and study nightly. Coach class and studying should allow me to be able to retain information better as well gain a greater understanding in each subject.

Day# 24

This blanket of Obama means a great deal to my mother; she was in awe that we have our 1st African American president. Immediately after he was inaugurated as President of the United States, she purchased the blanket. Now it sits down stairs for everyone to see, as soon as they walk in our house.
