So today I have been diligently studying each and every one of these vocabulary words for Mr. O’Connor’s AP Human Geography class. I try to spend over at least an hour a day studying; this will allow me to retain an ample amount of information. Therefore this strategy will allow me to achieve high-test scores, and most importantly success on my AP exam.

Day# 2.13
Seeing that this picture has been in my house for years, this is really the first time I really paid attention to it, (that’s crazy right?). Well I’m assuming that it represents my stepmom, dad and I, but there is a baby in the picture. So now I am really confused, for real I just think it’s just a regular painting and I am thinking too hard about the situation. I know this is not really a major matter or anything; however the painting had me stumped. I think I will just ask my parents if the picture has any meaning when they get home, depending on the time they arrive.

Day #2.12
Other than currently completing this blog at the moment, the place where I spent predominately all my time this afternoon was in my bed. Just been one of them relaxed days, I hardly had any homework, except in my English class. While I was lying down I completed some reading in my book for AVID and AP English 12 and continued go over vocabulary for AP Human Geography. Even though I considered this a relaxed afternoon, I still managed to do things that are productive. The reason I had an ample amount of time to myself is that I finished my homework that’s due tomorrow, last Friday. Being proactive, like I said in my previous blog has many benefits! For the remainder of the night I plan on just studying and looking over notes for my other classes until I fall asleep.

Day# 2.11
Clark Atlanta is one of the five colleges on my list to possibly attend next year and today I plan on starting the application. With the help of my parents, as well as my teachers, I will complete this application and my essay thoroughly. Overall teamwork will supply me with the best chance into receiving an acceptance letter into this college of my choice.

Day# 2.10
Being that I missed today’s school day for being sick, all I have been doing and all I look forward to do is continuing to read these books. At least I can say both books are interesting, and I am doing something productive instead of sleeping the entire day. Hopefully I can almost complete both books, so it will become a reduced amount of work for me later in the next couple of weeks. Being proactive really does have its benefits, this lesson that took me years to learn. Now I continually attempt to complete work ahead of time, leaving more time for activities I enjoy doing.

Day #2.9
"The Catcher in the Rye”, is another book I have received to read. This is the second or third novel I have to read, and it’s only the 3rd week in the 1st Quarter! And I thought senior year was going to be a breeze. Not complaining though because I know I can manage a heavy workload. Time management is the key to accomplish all my reading, in addition to all the other work I have to complete. Well I am off to begin, “The Catcher in the Rye” I anticipate a very interesting book. If the novel isn’t attention-grabbing, I will just read and interpret what is going on the best I can.

Day #2.8
This happens to be one of those days where I really don’t know what to blog about, so after perusing my room, I come up with idea to blog about the book we have to read in AVID, “A Hope in the Unseen”. Having to read 3 chapters this weekend, I actually finished reading the required chapters by Saturday and am now in the middle of chapter 4. I found the book to be very interesting; at times I couldn’t put the book down. After reading the first three and a half chapters, I am looking forward to finish the remaining chapters of “A Hope in the Unseen".
