Day#82

I just completed all of my homework, now I’m about to relax until work. Working is definitely not a joke, but I am getting use to it, today Wednesday and Thursday I work 6-10 p.m, these are going to be some long days! Other then that today in avid class we had a discussion on, "do you need to be smart in order to become successful in life?" my opinion is no you don’t have to be smart, in order for you to be successful, you have to have the drive and passion. There are plenty of people that aren’t "Smarting", however they knew how to use their talents, and their drive to push them to where they want to be.

Day#81

So today was a cool day I guess, didn’t really have any work, to complete in class, just when of them days all I had to complete was notes and not to mention I watched a movie in one of my classes. Also. Other then my blog only homework I have that’s due tomorrow or Wednesday is...well none is due, therefore tonight I am going to get an early start on my AP Human Geo Project that’s due Friday. Maybe I can even finish the entire project tonight.

Day#80

So I received a package from Delaware state university (a school I applied to, and my second choice out of five), and in the package it's an acceptance letter! Being excited wasn’t the word for the way I was feeling, my hard work had finally paid off, and a college accepted me. Now i am just waiting on for the rest of my acceptance letters, the school I’m waiting for the most is from North Carolina A&T.

Day#79

Other then relaxing from school on my thanksgiving break all I’ve been doing is work, work, work, and work. I have been working major hours especially since of black Friday and I work in retail. Sometimes I don’t even want to go, however I wanted a job, therefore I am going to deal with it. Not to mention I like the money that’s included, lol.

My final food rag, time has really pasted, I remember my first food rag in the 9th grade now I am in the 12th grade and about to be on the way to an institution of my choice.  Other wise I had a terrific time with my Avid family, everyone brought and shared a different, not to mention the food was delicious! I am going to really miss my AVID 12 family; hopefully after school we can all meet up and have an event similar to this again.

Yesterday’s day was all about relaxation, I had no homework to complete, and my entire test was on that current day. Therefore I caught on some rest, knowing that I had a full day today as well as work later on the afternoon.
